Another year has been added in my lifeee! And I'm totally on denial LOL. Leaving my tweenTEEN year now. I just can't accept the fact but as they say, time will come hahaha just kidding! I always believe that our age only means how we grew as a person. I've been through a lot for this year but I kept in mind that it's part of my life; part of growing up and learning on my own actions.

I'm thankful that God gives me another year to live. Also to my family and friends, thank you for going with me on whatever I do. I'm now ready to face new challenges with this year in my life. When it comes to anything beauty related, every girls can relate! We're all beauty product fanatic. It's part of our everyday routine! As for me, I'm still learning on applying my own makeup. I always go for natural look because it's the easiest and fastest I can do lol. And also I don't have yet a huge collection of makeup products. I love watching YouTube tutorials, it really helps! I have a few products that I use everyday and keep neatly tucked inside my makeup bag for easy access.

My newest makeup pouch is these from Kipling, the one I've got from the event last August (blog post here) I like how my girly stuffs fit in. So convenient!

So today I thought I’d share my personal makeup products that I can't leave the house with!

Happy Skin UV Brightening Gel Cream - Of course, we need a shield for the harmful ray of sun! I really love this 'cause it also acts as my base/primer.

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion - I also have the L'Oreal Infallible foundation but I use it during events. This liquid foundation is perfect for  natural look and finishes with a glow :) Makes me look fresh all day!

Maybelline Fashion Brow - One word, NATURAL. This is my go to eyebrow product for everyday.

Rucy's Vanity Gleamy Lavish Mascara - Current fave mascara!!! Totally obsessed how it's water proof and smudge proof! I love that it make my eyes look fresh all day!

Happy Skin Glam Squad Contour and Color - Just a beginner for contour, still learning tho hahaha. For the blush, I don't use it often but as to this time I think I'll need to learn the "drunk blush" craze :P

Maybelline Powder Matte in Touch of Nude - My preferred shade of lippies are nude. I love the way it makes me look natural and young :)
Happy Skin Swept Of My Feet Moisturizing Lippie - I always have 2 or more lippies. It just depends in my mood when will I use the other. It's just a girl thing; more lipsticks, note happiness LOL!

Happy Skin Air Touch Sponge - This is 3 way makeup blender and I love it so much!!! (Sorry for not showing it, not yet clean tho hahaha)

Hey everyone it's a beautiful day 'cause I have an exciting news to all of you! I know you've heard months ago on my instagram account that I'm working on a new blog layout, theme and

    ................................

    *drum rolls*

blog name! Yay finally, I finished everything this past weeks (sorry but my lazy ass in taking charge is on high lol) As they say, change is beautiful! I made this decision because I know it's time for me to grow and upgrade as a blogger. It's really important to have your own identity in this industry.

I'm now launching The Dainty Damsel by Elaine Villapando ❤

It takes a lot of time for me to think of something new and unique blog name. So many ideas popped on my mind. But of course, I just focused on what will represent my blog - having a girly chic personality who loves anything pink!

Dainty, which means delicately small and pretty. I really see myself being simple yet always adds something that updates my entire look. I opt for having a plain outfit but I need to compliment it with accessories that will add style and vice versa.

Damsel, from Old French damoisele and means a young woman or girl. I just looked for another word for women hahaha

And also I changed the website from everythingaboutelaine to elainevillapando.blogspot.com so it can be easily to find.  I think it's much better to have same social media names and website.

As for my blog theme and lay out, you can see that it's just black and white because I want it to be more simple and reader friendy. We all don't want colors that will make our sight harder to read, right?

What do you think of this newly rebranded blog, yay or nay? Let me know your thoughts and comments below! I would love to hear from you! :)

Sample Room PH is the first Philippine website that offers beauty & lifestyle products from different brands for FREE. Yes, you can have the products to try first before buying them in the market. You just have to create an account then use the points to avail the products. And you'll only pay for the shipping fee! Sounds so good, right? This is what I really love cause there are products that we don't know yet if it suits our body/skin. So thankful that Sample Room is here! :)

Yesterday, September 16, 2017 held the Sample Room PH first Beauty Vlogging Workshop. I really got excited when I heard about that. So thankful to Gen-zel Habab for giving me invitation. Even if I'm still not into vlogging (video blogging), I want to learn on how to start up with that with the help of the speakers: Gen-zel Habab for the topic Dabbing into Digital, Say Tioco for the Live Makeup Demo and Rhea Bue for Travel & Lifestyle Vlogging.

The  venue were filled in Parisian vibes making every corner so instagrammable! There has a booth for every sponsors; Belo Essentials, Happy Skin, Dentiste Kiss, Ponds and Fujifilm.

To wrap things up, I made a lists of what I've learned during the workshop:

    1. Be yourself. It's all about ourselves, just be real and show to the digital world our passion. Don't let negative vibes ruin the determination that will keep us going in vlogging.

    2. Maximize what you have. As the speakers said, they started with DIY equipment then work hard to achieve what they have now. Like for me, I still continue blogging even if I don't have a camera cause I still take photos using my phone. It's the passion that keeps me going. :)

    3. Get inspiration. Watch other vlogs to have ideas so you can come up with new and exciting vlog. Be inspired but don't copy.

    4. Haters gonna hate. If ever someone bashes and leave negative comment/s on your vlog, keep in mind that they're a secret fan of yours. As Gen-zel said, he/she put efforts to stalk your account and still follows you ;)

    5. Confidence is a key. This is really the main thought of the workshop, you start vlogging because you're confident enough to share your personal life in social media. Always remember that yourself is your number one fan. Believe that you can get there, step by step.

For a souvenir, they gave us a loot bag filled with goodness especially the tripod! Lol should I start vlogging? Well see, in the future!

Thank you so much Sample Room for this event and a big congratulations to the team behind this! Until the next one ❤
